Belaichhari is an upazila (sub-district) located in the Rangamati District of the Chittagong Hill Tracts region in southeastern Bangladesh. The upazila is bounded by the Rangamati Sadar and Barkal upazilas to the north, Kawkhali upazila to the south, Kaptai upazila to the east, and Barkal and Kawkhali upazilas and the Indian state of Tripura to the west.
Belaichhari is home to a number of indigenous communities, including the Chakma, Marma, Tripura, and Tanchangya peoples.
